PIN is non-profit
informational, referral and support group for parents who are concerned
about all aspects of parenting issues facing them today.
Children with difficult behaviors, strong-willed children, learning
disorders, Attention Deficit Disorder, emotional or conduct disorders and
educational information to help with a child's education plan. Offers
emotional support and up to date information on the current school laws
and regulations and can be a benefit to the community by providing a safe,
confidential place for troubled parents to meet and share problems. New
techniques and ideas on parenting are shared and occasionally speakers are
invited to attend to provide a different point of view.
PIN would like to meet once or twice a month (based on interest).
Many parents are unable to attend and would prefer to contact
someone by phone to talk about the challenges of parenting.
