Locally, RSVP of
Washington, Greene, and Fayette Counties has 800 active volunteers in the
Tri-County area. Within
Fayette County 350 volunteers serve at least 30 volunteer stations.
Such as mentoring for local schools; hospitals, libraries, senior
centers, and other non-profit agency activity.
Volunteers must be at least 55 years of age to join.
Some of the program benefits include mileage reimbursement, and
secondary insurance coverage while performing volunteer services.
