Services:   The Western Pennsylvania Caring Foundation is a non-profit 501 (C) (3) organization which sponsors or administers the following programs/services:

Caring Program for Children and BlueCHIP: These programs provide free, low cost, and direct pay health care coverage for Western Pennsylvania children up to age 19 who are uninsured and not eligble for Medical Assistance.  Free coverage is available for families whose incomes are above the medical assistance level, yet below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines.  Low cost coverage is offered to families qhose incomes are between 200% and 235% of the same guidelines.  Direct pay is for all others.

The Caring Place: This new program is dedicated to children who are grieving the death of a close loved one.  It provides group support (not therapy or treatment) for these children and their parents.  The Caring Place also serves as a resource for care-givers and communities as well.
