Offers transportation services to all residents of Fayette County. Fayette Area Coordinated Transportation (FACT) is a transportation agency based at the Fayette Coiunty Office of Human and Community Services. FACT provides a wide range of services in Fayette County. Its demand response services include medical assistance transpor-tation, shared ride transportation for senior citizens, shared ride transpor-tation for persons with disabilities, ADA complementary paratransit, and welfare-to-work transportation. FACT'S fixed route system serves the communi-ties of Uniontown, Brownsville, Connellsville, Fairchance, Farmington, Hopwood, Masontown, Republic, and Smithfield. It operates a weekday commuter route into Downtown Pittsburgh. Fixed route services operate Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (fewer fixed routes operate on Saturday and Sunday). Demand response service is available Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Type of trips: Any trip purpose for general public services. Program specific trips include: medical, education, field trip/recreation, program at another agency, employment, shopping/personal business, and senior centers. Call by 2:00 p.m the business day prior to schedule your trip. |
