Programs and Services

Our goal is to help people who are economic, cultural, physical, educational, or age disadvantaged to secure the opportunities needed for them to remain or become self sufficient.

We believe this can be accomplished through stimulating, mobilizing, focusing and efficiently managing state, federal, local, and private resources to help people to obtain the necessary knowledge, information, and motivation that they need to assure the basic necessities of life.  This requires that we assist communities and institutions to be more responsive and attentive to the needs and interests of disadvantaged residents.

We invest in the human resources of our communities and create economic and social opportunities that recognize the human dignity of the individual so that every member of the community has the same opportunity for self sufficiency.

A critical part of our success will be our ability to teach the skills of organization, advocacy and self help so that the people we serve are empowered to speak and help themselves.

Fayette County Community Action Agency, Inc. is an equal opportunity provider.
