Family Service Center

The Fayette County Community Action Agency has provided health and human services to the community for more than 30 years. FCCAA continues this strong tradition via the new Family Service Center, which offers a one-stop point of service. Offering a variety of services for the whole family, the Family Service Center includes:

COMMUNITY ACTION MEDICAL SERVICES (CAMS): A health center providing comprehensive primary care.

  • FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER: A center designed to offer families emotional support, parenting education and life skills opportunities. The center supports parents in their primary roles as caregivers and educators, with a focus on the critical early years. The center will also increase parental knowledge of child health and development, as well as increasing parental confidence in child-rearing activities.

  • THE TECHNOLOGY CENTER: A computer bank providing many residents with the opportunity to discover the world of high-tech telecommunications. The center provides a host of educational opportunities, including computer assisted adult education and literacy, employment readiness, and exposure to a wealth of information available via the Internet.
